What does Florida law say about auto-renewals and cancellations?

Automatic renewal of service contracts for consumers — (1) Any contract for service which contains an automatic renewal provision for a specified additional period of more than 1 month and that is renewable unless the consumer cancels the contract must disclose the automatic renewal provision clearly and conspicuously in the contract or contract offer. (2) Any person, firm, corporation, or entity that sells a service contract subject to this section shall notify the consumer in writing of the automatic renewal. Written notice shall be personally delivered or sent by first-class mail or by electronic mail to the consumer's last known address at least 30 days, but not more than 60 days, before the cancellation deadline pursuant to the automatic renewal provision. Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act — unlawful acts — (1) Unfair methods of competition, unconscionable acts or practices, and unfair or deceptive acts or practices in the conduct of any trade or commerce are hereby declared unlawful. (2) It is the intent of the Legislature that, in construing subsection (1), due consideration and great weight shall be given to the interpretations of the Federal Trade Commission and the federal courts relating to s. 5(a)(1) of the Federal Trade Commission Act, 15 U.S.C. s. 45(a)(1). FDUTPA — Other individual remedies — (1) Without regard to any other remedy or relief to which a person is entitled, anyone aggrieved by a violation of this part may bring an action to obtain a declaratory judgment that an act or practice violates this part and to enjoin a person who has violated, is violating, or is otherwise likely to violate this part. (2) In any action brought by a person who has suffered a loss as a result of a violation of this part, such person may recover actual damages, plus attorney's fees and court costs as provided in s. 501.2105. Florida UCC — Unconscionable contract or clause — (1) If the court as a matter of law finds the contract or any clause of the contract to have been unconscionable at the time it was made the court may refuse to enforce the contract, or it may enforce the remainder of the contract without the unconscionable clause, or it may so limit the application of any unconscionable clause as to avoid any unconscionable result. (2) When it is claimed or appears to the court that the contract or any clause thereof may be unconscionable, the parties shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to present evidence as to its commercial setting, purpose and effect to aid the court in making the determination. Which rules do most subscription contracts share, wherever you are?
